Honeybee Tilda

I'm trying to make cards with all my stamps I haven't used yet. Being a member of the Magnolia StampClub, I'm waaay behind on making cards with the stamps I've recieved...

So, here's a card with the cute Honeybee Tilda.

I haven't decided who's receiving this card yet, so I've saved some spce on the cloud-die from Magnolia to write the name, and I haven't stamped any sentiments on the tags inside the card yet either... just not sure of the occasion yet! Hence the versatile "Happy"-sentiment from Whimsy on the front... ;)

 I've colored Tilda with my Promarkers. Added Stickles - star dust on her wings.

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* Passion for Promarkers - Bee happy
* I love Promarkers - anything goes
* Daring Cardmakers - Don't worry, be happy

Christmas shaker-card

I'm so sad to see that the TOMIC and Just Magnolia challenge-blogs are shutting down :( I didn't participate as often as I wish I had, but every week I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful cards the DTs made. It was a lot of inspiration, and I'll miss those blogs.

So - I'm VERY happy that MDUC is still running! Magnolias amazing stamps deserves challenges just for them :)

And this week I saw that MDUCs challenge is to make a shakercard. I have a few Magnoliastamps coloured in, and the MDUC challenge got me started on a christmas shakercard. I love making these, although I don't do it very often.

I really wanted to make a card using one of the stamps I received in my last kit. But, I also wanted a tag with a matching mini-Tilda, and I didn't have any mimi-Tildas from the last Christmas collection. So, I ended up using another cute Tilda, on skates.
She's coloured in distress inks, and I used a Magnolia tag-die and made a tag with the mini-Tilda on. I haven't put on a lot of embellishments on this one. Papers from the newest Pion-collection, snowflake-chipboard painted with gesso, lace, trees from Magnolia and fence from Magnolia.
The shakerbox is made with spellbinders, gelatin and white glitter.

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* Magnolia Down Under - shakercard
*Cupcake Craft Challenges - Two's company
* Nordsalten - jul
* Creative inspirations - anything goes

Easel...card?

I've made myself an easel...card-ish thingy this weekend. At least it's in the shape of an easelcard, although it actually is a post-it holder. I'm going to keep this on my desk at work. Horrible pictures, but I'm taking it with me tomorrow, and had to get the pictures first...

 Cute image from Wee Stamps, and papers from Pion. Blue flowers are coloured with homemade glimmermist made from water, perfect pearls and weathered wood distress ink refiller. I've used several different dies on this, from Magnolia, Spellbinders and Marianne design.

Vintage birthday

Here's a card I made for a colleague who's mother-in-law had her 70th birthday a while back. Stamp from stempelglede, coloured with promarkers.

Stamp from Stempelglede (vintage garden). The butterflies are metalcharms painted with gesso and I've added some glitter to them.
The number 70 is a TH-die, cut out on chipboard and painted with cracklepaint. Distressed the edges with vintage photo. The old text is from an old book (from 1883! It hurts a bit to tear it apart...). I love the gothic writing on it... :)

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* Passion for promarkers - shabby in pink or blue (mine's pink)

Saturated canary - fall

It's been sooo quiet here lately! Life's been busy and I haven't had nearly enough time to create as I would like to. But I have been creating, although I haven't updated my blog for a while. I have a few cards ready to be published here, and unfortunately I've made a few that I forgot to photograph before I gave them away. Oh well.

Today I have an autumn-inspired card. It's for my mothers birthday, and I have used one of the new Saturated Canary rubber stamps that came in the mail from Hjerteboden a while back.

I've used the gorgeous fall-themed papers from Maya design. The roses and swirly flowers (from Kort og godt) were white, and I've coloured them with my self-made glimmermist (water, distress re-inkers and perfect pearls). I found the tip on how to make your own glimmermist somewhere in blogland a while ago, and I have to say - it works perfectly!! And with using the perfect pearls, I get just enough glimmer-effect on them too. Added some liquid pearls, swirl from Magnolia, leaves from WOC (coloured them woth homemade glimmermist and distressed the edges).

Image coloured with distress inks.
